A Study on Obesity, Body Fat Content and Serum Lipids of Adult in Jeon-Ju Area

Abstract
|

|
|
This study was carried out to investigate obesity, body fat distribution , and serum lipids of 185 subjects who are 40s-60s in Jeon-Ju area. Average height of male and female were 169 cm, 155cm and the average body weight were 66㎏, 58㎏, respectively, BMI was 23-24 and Broca index was 95-107. In total subjects, Hb, Hct, Υ-GTP and TG were significantly higher in female than male. In obesity group by Korean obesity and thin, body weight, skinfold thickness, body fat ㎏ and LBM were significantly higher than other groups. Hb, Hct and SP in obesity by BMI and Broca index SP, FBS aMd TC were not significant by different between groups. In obesity by body fat %, skinfold thickness was highest in obesity group. Body weight an BMI had positive correlation with Broca index, skinfold thickness, body fat % and lBM, but had negative correlation with HDL-C. TG had positive correlation with Hb, Hct, Υ-GTP, FBS ,but had negative correlation with HDL-C.
